21 Cream Blushes From Indie Brands You Should Check Out

Cream blush is definitely having its moment right now and Liv and I couldn’t be happier! We both adore cream blush, and I wear it every time I put on makeup. Cream products in general can give your skin a dewy, healthy finish. Just like tinted lip balms, cream blush is a trend that we’re thrilled to hop on board with.

Because of our obsession, we decided to put together a list of some of our favorite indies blushes – and a few we still have to try! We hope you can find a new favorite on this list. Let us know what you think in the comments!

Phytosurgence Skin Spark Cream Blush

What is there to say about Phytosurgence other than you really need to try these right now? I have been using my blush in Smolder pretty much every day since it came in the mail! The formula is light and moussey but stays all day. If you are looking for a longer-lasting cream blush, I recommend these! You’re sure to find a shade you like. Kailav Colorwash Cream Blush

musee beauty rococo colorwash

If you like having some options, the Kailav Colorwash Cream Blushes are for you! These each come with two beautiful shades, so you don’t always have to reach for the same color. Art lovers might want to choose the blushes that correspond with their favorite art movement: Kailav has an Impressionism and a Rococo collection out at the time of this writing. You can also pair them with their beautiful Colorsheen cream highlighters for even more glow! If you’re interested, you can use code INDIEMOOD for 10% off!

Olio E Osso Cream Blush Balms

If all you are looking for in a cream blush is a sheer wash of color on the cheeks, the Olio E Osso Balms are for you! I’ve also completely used one up, in case you were wondering how we felt about the formula! It’s super easy to use, and I love that it can be used as a lip balm as well. They are super moisturizing and glowy, though they do have a shorter lasting power. Every month, Olio E Osso gives to a different charity organization, too!

Mora Cosmetics Satin Sheen Multistick

mora cosmetics cream blush stick

Mora Cosmetics is a new-to-us indie brand! Their Satin Sheen Multistick can be used all over the face, and it looks great to travel with – you can create a whole look with just one shade! The founders also focus a lot on making their products sustainable. Plus, all their products are halal and vegan! I’m so excited to see their line expand as they grow!

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush

kjaer weis cream blushes

Believe it or not, I’ve finished a Kjaer Weis cream blush in the shade Desired Glow! This formula is super easy to work with, and it has a medium staying power. Of course, it gives that glowy look that cream blush is known for. And perhaps my favorite thing about the brand, in general, is their refillable compacts! If you are looking for a luxury sustainable brand, check this on out!

Danessa Myricks Vision Flush Liquid Blush

The Danessa Myricks Vision Flush blushes are iconic. They have a liquid formula that you can use all over. Though I have never tried them – yet! – I hear they are long-lasting as well. They recently expanded the shade range, so you’ll have a ton of options to choose from. Plus, Danessa Myricks’ gorgeous artistry never fails to inspire me!

River Organics Cream Blush Sticks

The River Organics Cream Blush Sticks have a super standard formula. Easy to work with, easy to blend, and with a medium lasting power. This is another great brand if you are looking for zero waste beauty. The packaging is plastic free and all the labels are made of sugar cane! To get to the product, you push the bottom of the stick upwards.

Half Caked Makeup Candy Paint Cream Blush and Bronzer

These beautiful blushes from Half Caked Makeup are high on my list to try. They have an easy to use, blendable formula, with a super glowy finish! The Candy Paint cream blushes also appear to work especially well with brushes, which I really appreciate. The heart-shaped packaging is super cute, too. These blushes are also one of the most affordable on the list, at just $8 apiece for the blushes and $9 for the bronzers.

Axiology Balmies

axiology balmies zero waste cream blush

We’ve got another zero/low waste option for you! The super versatile Axiology Balmies can be used on the eyes, lips, and cheeks! Their formula is super easy to use and blends out quickly. But perhaps the best part is every single part of the packaging can be either recycled or is biodegradable. And, the packaging is completely made out of recycled paper! Balmies come wrapped in paper, and you simply rip off the paper to get to more of the product as you use it!

Mad Hippie Cheek and Lip Tint

The Mad Hippie Cheek and Lip Tints are another one of those multi-use products. The formula is so easy to use, blendable, and, I love using mine in Poppy on my lips as a soft red-orange tint! It moisturizes while also giving you a soft satin look. The brand is completely cruelty-free and vegan, too!

Dehiya Beauty Lip and Cheek Tint

Dehiya is a new-to-us brand and we are so glad we found them! Their cream blushes pop, with a minimal but bright shade range. Their argan oil is ethically sourced from Morocco’s Argan Forest and they work closely with a local Amazign women’s co-op just outside of Marrakech, Morocco. We love brands that expand opportunities for people globally!

Tower 28 Beauty BeachPlease Cream Blush

tower 28 beauty cream blush

Tower28 Beauty is an indie powerhouse at this point – you can even find them at Sephora! They recently launched an expansion of both their cream blushes and bronzers, so you can choose from 11 different shades. The blushes have a beautiful creamy formula and, if you couldn’t guess it yet, can be used all over the face. While the cream blushes are a true crème, the bronzers are very glowy. Depending on what you are looking for, you can choose one or the other!

Manasi7 All Over Color

manasi7 cream blush

Manasi7 embodies Swedish beauty. These seem absolutely perfect for a monochromatic look, and with 16 shades to choose from, you can be sure to find that perfect go-to shade. They offer bright pops of color and more neutral shades. I’ve never tried Manasi7, but they are on the top of my list of brands to try ASAP! I especially love that gorgeous bronze tone in the bottom left of the above picture.

Scrandie Beauty Cheek + Lip Tint

scrandie beauty lip and cheek tint

Scrandie Beauty launched relatively recently, and they are making waves with their juicy lip glosses! But, we are here to talk about their lip and cheek tint, a buildable formula that you can pair with their stick highlighter for a quick glowy look. Just like the other stick products on this list, these would be great to throw into your bag, paired with one of their glosses, for an on-the-go look!

Daniel Sandler Watercolor Liquid and Gel Blush

daniel sandler watercolor liquid and gel blush

Daniel Sandler’s iconic watercolor blushes definitely had to make this list! The liquid formulation ensures that the blushes blend out seamlessly. They have a ton of different shade options, and because you only need a small amount of product to work into the skin, their bottles will last you a very long time. I love that Daniel Sandler includes older women in their marketing, too!

Salt New York Crème Tint Pro

salt new york cream blush

Salt New York’s gorgeous cream blush formula comes nestled, if you want, in their very own palette. You can refill the palette with individual pans of the ones you finish, which makes the Salt New York blushes a great eco-friendly option. You can pair them with their contours, bronzers, and highlights to make yourself a fully customized face palette! And, as usual with cream products, you can use these gorgeous shades all over your eyes, lips, and face.

Noto Botanics Multi-Benne Pots

noto botanics cream blush pots

Literally everything about Noto Botanics’ aesthetic and branding is absolutely stunning. Their Multi-Benne Pots are no different. While their shade options aren’t super varied, the shades they offer are very versatile, and, of course, can be used all over the face. One of the great things about the Multi-Benne tints is that they come in different shapes. If you prefer not to reach in a pot but really want to try these out, you can also pick them up in stick form!

Purlisse Blush Glow BB Cheek Color

purlisse liquid blush

The Purlisse Blush Glow BB Cheek Colors are the only cream blushes on this list that come in a squeeze tube! These fun, bright blushes have a buildable formula that you can easily apply for a soft flush of color. I think this range has some unique shades, too, like that light, bright orange! I think it would be so fun to pair with a summery eyeshadow look! Purlisse’s products are also vegan, and they use sythetic beeswax in their formulas.

Fat and the Moon Lip Paints

If you aren’t familiar with Fat and the Moon, yet, then you are definitely new here. I hit pan in their highlighter in Beam and talk about it non-stop (it’s a definite repurchase). But now we are talking about their Lip Paints, another one of my favorite products from them (and yes, I’ll also be repurchasing my favorite shades!). These have a thicker cream formula that you need to warm up with your finger, but they blend beautifully and are extremely long-lasting. You can use these everywhere – eyes, lips, and cheeks. I especially love the shade Mortar and Pestle for that perfect just-kissed swollen lip look. And just as a bonus, their packaging is all low waste!

Tai Lite Glow Pigments

tai lite multi use glow pigments

Tai-Lite’s Glow Pigments are probably the most unique product on this list. That might not be so surprising, considering that a talented editorial makeup artist, Tai Ceme, created the brand. I believe Tai-Lite offers the truest purple blush you’ll find within these brands’ offerings, not to mention that stunning blue and gorgeous green! These appear to have a more sparkly base, and they can be used on both the eyes and the cheeks. They also have a super simple formula, which is awesome for those with more sensitive skin.

Rituel de Fille Color Nectar Pigment Balms and Inner Glow Cremes

rituel de fille cream blush

For me, the Rituel de Fille Inner Glow Creme Pigments are what started it all! They included a sample of Lust, I tried it, and the rest was history. You will surely find a shade you adore in their beautiful range of shades – seriously, they have so many! Rituel de Fille also recently expanded their range with their stunning and colorful Nectar Pigments. You can use these literally everywhere, and Liv uses them all the time in her makeup artist kit. The formula blends beautifully, and you can pair it with one of their Illuminizers to get that ethereal glow that Rituel de Fille is known for!

That’s all, folks! Let us know if you’ve found a new favorite or if there are any brands you think we need to try!
