Different Dimensions was kind enough to send us 7 of their new colors for April to swatch and review. This is my first time trying Indie Nail Polish, and my first time swatching nail polish ever! I was so excited to try all of them, and was blown away by the beauty and quality of these. The colors are so unique.

Review:
*Disclaimer: These polishes were complimentary for review, but that does not effect our opinion at all. All polishes were used in conjunction with Vibrant Vinyls Get a Grip sticky base coat and Chanel Le Gel gel top coat.
This new trio will be available Sunday, April 14th at 9 am on their website.
Sky Full Of Stars
Brand Description: Periwinkle crelly with added aurora shimmers, iridescent color shifting flakies, and holographic microflakies
My Review: This is the most stunning lavender princess shade ever. The flakes are so stunning and ethereal looking. Like all of these polishes, this lasted extremely long without chipping, I took this off on the 5th day to swatch another shade and it was still in perfect condition.
Rocket Man
Brand Description: Baby blue crelly with added aurora shimmers, iridescent color shifting flakies, and holographic microflakies
My Review: This is the Cinderella Blue version of Sky Full of Stars. The aurora shimmers are so stunning, they add that pink reflect that you see in the photo. I couldn’t stop staring at my nails with this shade!
All of the Stars
Brand Description: Turquoise crelly with added aurora shimmers, iridescent color shifting flakies, and holographic microflakies
My Review: I love this shade of teal! This is the exact color I had my room as a kid. I think all three shades in this trio have the same flakes and shimmers, but they play so differently with the different shades of crelly base. This is the brighter, less pastel shade of the three.
March 2019 – There Is No One Alive Who Is You-Er Than You
Brand Description: Light green crelly with added ucc flakies, gold microflakies, and holographic microflakies
My Review: OH my gosh, my girlfriend loves this shade so much! These are her nails in the photo because she wanted to model it. We couldn’t decide what this shade looked more like – Guacamole, or Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans. There is no better way to describe this than Avocado Green, with speckles of glitter. This is so unique! *Only available until April 30, 2019
April 2019 â If You Don’t Like Something, Change It
Brand Description: Sky blue crelly with added ucc flakies and holographic microflakies
*Only available until April 30, 2019
My Review: This shade is exactly, perfectly similar to a robin’s egg – speckles and all! This is such a stunning shade of blue, and looks so springy and bright. It’s very speckled to the point where it almost looks like paint flicks. *Only available until April 30, 2019
Born To Standout â Autism Awareness Polish (thermal)
Brand Description: Purple (cold) to blue (warm) with added iridescent color shifting flakies and holographic microflakies. $1 from every Born To Standout polish will be donated to the Autism Society of Indiana. Note from the brand owner: My youngest son was diagnosed with Autism in 2012 and it has been something that I personally have worked years advocating for.
My Review: This is my first time ever trying a thermal polish! This shade is so fun, and it was cool watching my fingers change throughout the day when I was holding a cold drink, or washing my hands in warm water. I wish my nails were longer so you could see the gradient more on the tips of my nails! This shade is packed with shimmer flakes. Autism is such an important cause, and one near and dear to my heart, so I love that proceeds from this shade will go to the Autism Society of Indiana. *Only available until April 30, 2019
B(EARTH)day 2019 (magnetic)
Brand Description: Navy blue to green to purple magnetic multichrome polish with gold flakies and gold holographic microglitters.
*not a super strong magnetic effect
The Brand Owner’s birthday falls on Earth Day – mine (Liv) falls the day before, April 21st, which also happens to be Easter! I’ll have to rock this shade that day.
My Review: This is my first time trying a magnetic polish. I tried this twice to make sure it worked right! This shade is so stunning out of the bottle, I love it so much. It’s very earthy, which I love (being a Taurus myself). I’m not sure if I’m doing the magnet thing right, I just used a magnet from my refrigerator. I didn’t see a difference but I’ve never used a magnetic polish before so I’m most likely doing it wrong. It’s a gorgeous shade regardless. *Only available until April 30, 2019
Overall: I really loved swatching these polishes, and learning how to take nail swatch photos was a fun new challenge. I will never purchase mainstream polish again after using these. They have the most unique reflects and sparkles and textures ever, I’m in love! These are colors I never thought I’d fall in love with, being someone who has exclusively only worn black nail polish for years. They also last longer than I’m used to, and the finish is gorgeous. Thank you Different Dimensions for sending me these to swatch!
*These polishes were complimentary for review, but that in no way changes our view on them.
Indie Nail Polish is still uncharted territory for us, but by now I know that…
