I was lucky enough to try a bunch of products from the natural bath and body care brand, Lathering Lotus. Created by two sisters, one of them being a Yoga Instructor, this brand aims to create really effective skin and body care while also being all natural. They get back to the roots of hand made soaps, which creates a super moisturizing lather, unlike store bought bars of soap. My skin loved this stuff, and I wanted to share it with you guys after about a month of using it and testing it all out. I’m going to review each individual product below.
I love how this mask has the duel purpose of hydrating and cleaning out pores. I have dry skin, so I would normally steer clear of clay masks, but the fact that this has rose hip and chamomile in it makes it soothing and moisturizing. This bottle will last you a long time, since you only need a bit of powder to make a mask. The lavender essential oil will fight acne and impurities in your pores. My skin feels so incredibly clean after using this!
This has been my body bar in the shower for the past month and I love it. This smells delicious, like honey and almonds, and has colloidal oatmal in it to moisturize and sooth skin. I can feel this hydrating my skin and making it so soft. I can see why this is a bestseller for them.
This is another product I’ve been using non stop since I received it. The bar is beautiful, and I can tell this will last a very long time. I’ve been using it night and day for a month and have barely made a dent. This makes my skin feel super clean and pure without over drying. It doesn’t have a strong fragrance which is a plus for me. I haven’t had any breakout since using it, so it’s definitely been helping to keep my pores clear.
I fell in love with this soap as soon as I saw it. This is a pretty decorative soap that smells like kiwi and jackfruit (mmmm). The top has a layer of gold shimmer that’s gorgeous. I’m going to be displaying this in my bathroom, it’s too pretty to use!
The brand owner has spent a few years perfecting this oil serum, and after using it, I can tell that she put a ton of work into it. I would consider this more of a face oil than a serum, and I put it on my face as a last step before bed. It has non-GMO grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, evening primrose oil, meadowfoam oil, rosehip oil, vitamin E, essential oil blend of lavender & frankincense in it. It’s super moisturizing but not heavy, and has seriously helped my dry winter skin. It smells amazing, it actually reminds me of an fragrance oil blend my yoga teacher uses during Shavasana to help us wind down. Evening primrose, rosehip, and meadowfoam oils are all extremely moisturizing while also light, and contain skin healing properties. This is an amazing addition to your skincare routine to soften and plump the skin. As a comparison, I recently received the new Sunday Riley Vitamin C facial oil in a beauty box and prefer this one by a landslide, and it’s $60 less.
Also, there was an adorable owl soap sample hidden in the box with the serum. How cute!
Overall, I really loved getting to sample Lathering Lotus’s amazing products. They’re a wonderful natural brand for soap and skincare. I can tell it’s a labor of love for the brand owners, and that their products really reflect the brands passion towards organic ingredients and effective products. Thank you to Lathering Lotus for giving us the opportunity to review everything!
