Our Thoughts: First of all, there is a very good reason why the Brown Sugar and Honey Scrub is a best-seller. It leaves your skin feeling so smooth and silky, I really, really love it so much. The scrub is really scrub-y and the oils sink into your skin very nicely, and it feels so luxurious. I even got my boyfriend hooked on this. I would definitely repurchase this!
I also really enjoy the lip scrubs! I’m not a huge lip scrub person, to be honest, but these are nice. They are very exfoliating and leave your lips with a tingly feeling after that is really refreshing. I find that my lips are more plump after I use these as well! And they are also moisturizing at the same time!
Finally, the Chamomile Calming Mask feels so, so nice on my skin. It is actually a gel consistency, which I find pretty unique. Because of the gel consistency, I felt better putting it on my face because gel-like products are less likely to clog your pores than cream products. The mask was really cooling and refreshing straight out of the container – I didn’t store it in the fridge. I keep it on for about ten minutes, and after taking it off I find that my skin feels and looks very plump and hydrated. My skin is very sensitive, but I didn’t get irritation from this mask and my skin felt great afterwards, as well!
I do really want to try some of the other products McKenna Cosmetics offers. I love that she offers lip pencils and brow pencils! I don’t see many indies that sell such products and I’m intrigued!
