  • Our review of the brand:

Geekpothecary was kind enough to send both Giulia and I some products to try.  We both received a lip butter and body custard to try, I tried the Jam Bud Fusion Bubble Bar, and Giulia tried the Lion Lickers Sugar Cream.  We received these products for free for review purposes, but as always our opinions are 100% honest.

Guilia’s Review: The Blue Diamond Lip Butter has been my daily lip balm ever since I got it. It is super moisturizing and doesn’t feel thick on the lips at the same time, so I love it. I’ve also really been enjoying the Lion Lickers Sugar Cream! It is a great body scrub and the oils in it make my skin feel silky smooth after I use it. I have super sensitive skin and the scrub has given me no issues at all!

Liv’s Review: The Jam Bud Bubble Bar is awesome! I used about 1/3 for my whole bath which filled my tub with lots of bubbles.  Also, the bar itself is super cute, it has biodegradable glitter and a little star.  The scent is sweet and fruity, but not overwhelming at all.  My skin felt extra soft after the bath.

I also got the Amethyst Lip Butter which has been my go to for the past week.  The olive squalene is a really spectacular ingredient that I haven’t seen yet in a lip balm – it helps immensely with hydration.  I have chronically dry lips and this worked like a charm.  Also the scent is amazing.  Every single time I put it on, I kinda sniff the air, like what is that amazing smell??  Then I realize it’s my own lips.  The body custard is another product I’m super impressed with.  The oat protein is not only hydrating, but also firming which is awesome.  It also has shea butter and aloe leaf juice, which makes this a very smooth, easily absorbed, and hydrating lotion.

Final Impression: This is a really rad new brand! Not only is their concept really unique and well executed, but the products are also really effective.  They really check all the boxes: looks cute, smells awesome, and works amazingly.  I really enjoyed everything I tried and will definitely be picking up more.
